Random Motophoto time. A ride down to Sarajevo in Bosnia a while back. Loved it!

I’m laughing at the size of the bag on the back of my bike though! We’d thought it was going to be way colder in parts of the trip so had packed layers accordingly. Way overloaded!

We loved the ride through Slovenia and Croatia before meandering our way inland to Bosnia. Beautiful.

And we lucked out by staying on a really good value camping site a few miles outside of Sarajevo. The staff cracked us up by being incredibly surly, but we put on our best smiles and friendliest handshakes, and they soon melted. 😊

The other bit that worked so well, was that we came and went from the city on the tram. No bike gear to stomp around in. Great people and scenery watching opportunity!

Oh, and those layers too many? On the way back to England the weather changed and we copped it! Big time. But stayed warm, dry and smiling.
